Introducing The Pie Life

‘The Pie Life’ is our specialist GLUTEN FREE pie bakery which stands on our friendly family farm in the rolling hills of the Staffordshire countryside. Since 2008 our love and obsession has been pies leading us to design a mouth-watering, indulgent range which has been showered with awards and accolades by our customers and professionals alike.


You can’t have great pies without great ingredients. We ensure that all of our meat adheres to our own high standards of quality and that welfare standards are UK Farm Assured to guarantee its integrity. We always look to source vegetables and herbs from local suppliers wherever possible and make sure that the palm oil we use in our pastries is sustainable.


Our close-knit team of pie experts is made up of a perfect blend of head chefs from high-end kitchens, pastry experts, bakers and other pie obsessives we have picked up along the way. Every person who works with us is dedicated to making the perfect pie every time!


It was 9 years of perfecting our pies until we entered them into a professional competition. At the British Pie Awards in 2017 we entered 9 pies and won 9 awards including 1 Champion, 1 Highly Commended, 2 Golds, 3 Silvers and 2 Bronzes. In 2018 and 2019 more silverware followed with a further 16 awards. This year in 2020 the avalanche continued with 2 further Highly Commended Pies! In 2019 we entered the Great Taste Awards for the first time and walked away with 5 Great Taste Awards! In 2018 we won a Gold Free From award for our Gluten Free Steak & Ale Pie!


We believe in always being at the front of changes to tastes and diets and dedicating our time to developing amazing recipes to cater for this. As well as our classic range we already have established menus of Gluten Free and Vegan products which we are expanding all the time along with other products such as savoury suet puddings, fruit pies, crumbles, quiches and savoury tarts.
